Step One of the journey: The Print Pathway™
Before anything else, a child needs solid print.
The Print Pathway is our daily print handwriting curriculum, and it is the foundation everything else sits on. Letter formation, proper stroke order, spacing, sizing, and the muscle memory that turns writing from a struggle into something automatic.
The lessons are short. That is on purpose. A few focused minutes a day builds better handwriting than an hour of frustration once a week, and it keeps a child willing to come back tomorrow.

The Letter Bridge™: a four-step crossing from print to cursive
This is the part most curricula skip, and it is the part that makes everything else click.
The Letter Bridge is a four-book series that walks a child across the gap between print and cursive so gradually that they hardly notice the crossing. Each step has its own letter-carrying animal, its own color, and its own place on the bridge.
Step One: Mouse Messages
A little mouse with a satchel of mail starts us off. This step is pure print penmanship practice, reinforcing everything from The Print Pathway with fresh pages and new words. Your child is standing at the foot of the bridge, getting steady.
Step Two: Snail Mail
Our snail carries a letter and takes his time, which is exactly the right pace for this step. Print practice continues here, but cursive is introduced for the first time. Just a gentle hello. First connections, first loops, first sense that letters can hold hands.
Step Three: Llama Letters
The llama is packed and moving. By this step, your child is working in both print and cursive, building real fluency in the connected forms while keeping their print sharp. This is the middle of the bridge, and it is where confidence starts to show up.
Step Four: Pigeon Post
Our pigeon delivers the final step. Print and cursive penmanship together, with longer passages and more independence. By the end of this book, your child is writing cursive without thinking hard about it.

The far side: The Cursive Connection
The last book in the series is where it all lands.
The Cursive Connection is our daily cursive handwriting curriculum, built for the child who has crossed the bridge and is ready to make cursive their everyday hand. Daily lessons, steady practice, and the kind of repetition that turns careful letters into a natural signature.
This is the book where a child stops practicing cursive and simply starts writing in it.
Why we built it this way
Cursive gets taught as a separate subject, dropped into a school year with no runway. Children who have spent three years printing are suddenly asked to connect everything, and a lot of them decide right then that they are bad at handwriting.
They are not bad at handwriting. They were handed a cliff instead of a bridge.
Our six book series exists because the transition deserves as much care as the destination. Small steps, familiar characters, and pages that feel like an invitation instead of a worksheet.

If your child is just beginning, start with The Print Pathway and work through the series in order.
If they already print confidently, you can begin at The Letter Bridge Step One or jump to Step Two where cursive is introduced.
